Over the past 12 months, we’ve made our mark on the Kingdom, strengthening our local network, growing our talented team, and working our Katch magic for some of the biggest PR campaigns in Saudi Arabia
3-2-1- Happy New Year! 2026 has officially landed, but before we wave goodbye to 2025 altogether, let’s take a stroll down memory lane. The past year has been one of immense growth and success for us, and we couldn’t miss out on the opportunity to relive those amazing moments with you in blog form. So, let’s hit pause on the New Year’s Day buzz for a bit and replay all the highlights that made 2025 one to remember for all of us here at Katch.
A Running Start
Kick-starting the new year, the team got straight to work orchestrating a winning PR strategy for Riyadh Active, Riyadh Active Industry, and Riyadh Muscle Show. The co-located events took place on February 7th and 8th at The Arena and featured appearances from fitness icons like Big Ramy and Ronnie Coleman, as well as exciting activations from Les Mills, Noon Minutes, and Motion Academy. During this truly standout PR campaign, we tapped into our expertise in influencer marketing in Riyadh and our strong ties with local media to ensure it was the talk of the town throughout its run.
Once we caught our breath from managing PR for the Kingdom’s leading health, fitness, and wellness event, we rolled up our sleeves for our client X-NOOR. As a communications agency based in Riyadh and Dubai, we know the pulse of each city, allowing us to connect the solar solutions developer with the UAE market by spotlighting its project with JA Resorts & Hotels. Building on our expertise in hospitality PR, we also created awareness around this innovative initiative, which aims to generate 37.6GWh of clean energy over the 20-year lease agreement.
They say time flies when you’re having fun, and just like that, Ramadan arrived. As one of our busiest times of the year, we worked hard to ensure all of our clients’ Holy Month offerings reached the right audiences. We spotlighted several exquisite iftars and suhoors at the likes of Address Jabal Omar Makkah and The Hotel Galleria Jeddah, Curio Collection by Hilton. Among this year’s PR highlights, we organised an exclusive collaboration with Art of Heritage and Dar Al Hanouf at Four Seasons Hotel Riyadh at Kingdom Centre, showcasing their Ramadan collections within the opulent Kingdom Suite.
A Fresh Start
New beginnings aren’t just for the new year, and in August, we started afresh by moving to a bigger and better space in Riyadh. Since making our Saudi debut in 2016 and opening our first PR office in Riyadh back in 2024, the Kingdom has become a second home for Katch. Of course, a lot has changed since those early days, and our portfolio, team, and connections have grown in every direction.
To accommodate our ever-expanding team, we’ve relocated Katch’s Saudi family to the 6th floor of the Samama Building on King Fahad Branch Road, Olaya Street. This bright, spacious new hub allows us to keep our finger on the pulse, grow with intention, and deliver purposeful, localised content.
In the spirit of new beginnings, August also saw us introduce a new era of social dining with ‘Level Up’ at Vaquero Restaurant in Hotel Galleria Jeddah, Curio Collection by Hilton. Offering a stylish new hotspot for the city’s socialites, this immersive experience blends music, gaming, and bold bites. We also kept things fresh at Four Seasons Hotel Riyadh at Kingdom Centre by promoting a one-of-a-kind afternoon tea experience inspired by the timeless craftsmanship of Piaget.
One Last Sprint
From there, it was all systems go as we prepared for the launch events of our two exciting new F&B clients, NOMAS and Cucina. Between juggling those PR events in Riyadh, we also ensured a successful Saudi debut for the Baby Expo at The Arena, which welcomed 11,783 visitors, including His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. Just after that, we celebrated Café Boulud’s first anniversary with an intimate dinner and mocktail reception attended by Chef Daniel Boulud.
Combining some of our top PR hospitality clients within the region, we organised a standout Address Jabal Omar Makkah event in Dubai to celebrate history when its logo lit up the Burj Khalifa. Closer to home, we showed our expertise in brand collaborations in Saudi Arabia by hosting a unique Art of Heritage takeover at NOMAS, which featured a curated display of handcrafted pottery, textiles, and paintings. As for Cucina, we helped generate buzz for an adorable new Little Chefs experience, as well as an Italian Heritage dinner created by five world-class chefs.
Finally, to wrap up the year on a high note, Katch managed the highly anticipated launch of Rixos Murjana, Saudi Arabia’s largest fully integrated all-inclusive resort. Further to this, in another milestone moment, we made some serious noise for White Out, Beast House’s all white, all night New Year’s Eve party, a celebration of musical mayhem unlike anything the capital had ever seen before.
Watch This Space
2025 was truly one of our busiest and most impactful years yet, and we couldn’t be more excited for what’s next. This year showed us that it’s never too late to celebrate new beginnings, having onboarded new brands, built hype for epic launches, and moved to a new office, all in the space of 12 months.
